Ergonomics Design In Drilling Jumbo

The main work of this paper is the ergonomics design for jumbo. Using the basic principle and design method of ergonomics to complete the design.Paper based on the theory of ergonomics, human-computer interaction, etc. It analyzed the working environment of jumbo and established a main content and design route for the jumbo cab design.This paper established the mathematical correlation between human body parameters and the five main parameters. It calculated the H point location by using the MATLAB software. It determined the position and adjusting range of the seat. It combined with GB,ISO,SAE and other relevant standards. It built 3D model by using SOLIDWORKS and CATIA. It designed the operation table’s size and location by analyzing the drilling parts and functional parts’ human-computer interface and human-computer interaction.Using the CATIA ergonomics analysis module to analyze the operator’s visual field, reach envelope field and comfort.In the end, it evaluated the design work with comprehensive evaluation and the result is good.This paper put forward the jumbo ergonomics design principles and route, and completed the design of the cab. It had a practical value to improve the level of the man-machine engineering design and research for jumbo.
