Automobile clutch is a very important part in automobile power system, composed of a cover assembly and a driven disc assembly, is a bridge connecting the car engine and transmission.The automobile clutch durability testing platform is used to detect the durability of the clutch diaphragm spring and other components of the separation. Whether it’s a new product development of automotive clutch, product upgrading, or product inspection, all needs to test the durability of the automobile clutch. Reproduction of the actual working conditions of the automobile clutch on the test platform, through the indoor bench test to save space and greatly improve the detection efficiency, reduce the cost.On one hand, the durability testing platform help enterprises understand the precise fatigue life of the product, on the other hand, guide the product of its preliminary design and manufacturing process, so as to provide reliable data for preliminary design and manufacturing process.This paper firstly introduces the development status of domestic and foreign research,analyzed the market demand of the durability testing platform in the future. Based on analyzing detection mechanism of the clutch durability, used CATIA software designed the structure of the durability testing platform.Use ANSYS software to analyze the key components of the durability testing platform.In this paper, determined the control strategy of the durability testing platform,designed the structure of the control system of the durability testing platform. Based on the basic requirements of the durability testing platform, determined the main hardware used in the durability testing platform. According to the design requirements of the durability testing platform, established the speed control system model, select advanced and efficient control algorithm, using Matlab/Simulink software powerful simulation function to simulate speed control system, to evaluate whether the performance of the speed control system is meet the requirements of the durability testing platform. Developed the human-computer interaction interface of the testing platform, to achieve the detection of data storage, playback, analysis and other functions, it’s convenient for the experimental personnel to carry out massive data to analysis and data mining after the experiment.Through the experimental results show that the testing platform meets the design requirements.
