Brief Discussion About Archive Architecture Based On Digital Technology

With the development of information technology, mankind has entered the era of explosive data. Penetrating into all walks of life work, digital technology has brought a far-reaching influence which promotes the construction of a new batch of archive building when the traditional archive buildings fail to fully meet the requirements of modern archive service, especially in the innovation of digital technology and the progress of advanced thoughts.While most of the existing research mainly focused on the discussion about digitization and community of archive buildings, few concentrated the investigation on the types of architecture which has been playing the key role of public cultural building in city. Based on the project in Suzhou city (the jiont construction of archives, the museum of science and technology, activity center of women and children), the author tried to discuss about the research and the analysis of space in archive buildings.The thesis is divided into discussion part and project report. Seven chapters are included in discussion part:Chapter one is the introduction, introduces the reason, significance and basic methods of this research.Chapter two discusses the development and evolution of archives buildings in China and abroad, as well as the design points of traditional archives buildings in our country.Chapter three to chapter five analyse and conclude the methods and stratagies of archive design, seperately from the aspects of modern archives constraction based on digital technology, jiont constraction and exterior space design of archives buildings, and public space design of modern archives buildings.Chapter six analyzes and summarizes various methods of expression of modern archives buildings image form the aspects of shape, material and cultural expression.Chapter seven is the project report, which represents the ideas and results of project design.
