Research On Interactions Between Vehicles At Un-Signalized T Intersection

Today, traffic accidents are prone to happen at intersections, and this is closely related to livelihood security. So, it has been the key research topic for scholars from all over the world. Un-signalized T intersection is much worser because of its easy route management. In order to study the safety and efficiency of intersection, interactions between the main road and minor road is studied, which are based on basic driving behavior and conflicts. In this paper, the vehicles involved are motor vehicles.First, interaction and its output for vehicles at intersections are analyzed. During the process, the basic microscopic driving behaviors at intersection are talked, and the great meaning for them is talked too. Then, interactions between vehicles are classificated into different forms. Finaly, interference and conflict are analized in details.Secondly, according to datas collected, features of a moving vehicle are studied depending on the time and space. During the study, forward-traveling vehicle on major lane and left-turn vehicle on minor lane are the object, conflict technology is mainly used, variable like through time or speed is mainly analized.Finally, the mathematical model is made to describe interactions between vehicles. one-way ANOVA is used to analyse whether two variable are linearly dependent. In this paper, SPSS is also used to build models. Through the model, boundary of trajectory for left-turn vehicle can be defined.
