The existence of a large number of power system equipment cabinet moisture problems, excessive humidity to the safe operation of equipment to bring great harm. Faced with such outdoor substation terminal boxes, switch cabinets and terminal boxes and other small interior space, the higher the degree of drying equipment requirements, poor means of conventional desiccant effect, need an effective power cabinet dehumidification solutions.It is analyzed that the power cabinet interior insulation deterioration caused by excessive humidity, and even lead to equipment breakdown and discharge faults affecting stable and reliable operation of power supply equipment, analysis of the power of traditional dehumidification mode can not be effectively dehumidifying cabinet interior, and gives the principle of using cooling dehumidifying technical features. According to the principle of cooling and dehumidifying technology based on semiconductor materials thermoelectric cooling technology-Peltier effect and field application requirements, developed a semiconductor refrigeration type dehumidifier, including semiconductor refrigeration, control, and air circulation, such as three parts of Semiconductor device selection, dehumidifier operating modes and control algorithms to do a specific design. Will be developed by the semiconductor dehumidifier were applied in high voltage cabinets and terminal boxes, using "more limited humidity start & delay" automatic mode, consider the installation of drainage pipes and other measures necessary to achieve good results.This is the on-site operation of equipment dehumidification technology improvements, the "gas-water separation" of semiconductor technology into the substation cabinet cooling and dehumidifying equipment, effectively reducing the cabinet air humidity, reducing excessive humidity caused by equipment failure, the risk of explosion enhance the safe and stable operation of the equipment level and reliable power supply capacity, in Jiangsu power system to obtain a large number of applications, with remarkable results, with high economic and promotional value.
