Cement stabilized base materials are widely used in road base course. At present, the research of cement stabilized base materials is mainly focused on the pavement performance and basic mechanical parameters, such as anti-crack, anti-freezing, strength and stiffness. The research on visco-elastic-plastic is relatively few. Based on compression test, paper analyzes the rheological behavior of cement stabilized base materials, providing the basic theory and basic methods for design theory and mechanical parameters of semi-rigid asphalt pavement. This paper selects two types of cement stabilized base materials such as framework-dense structure and suspend-dense structure for compression test. The test sets five kinds of loading ways, such as simple loading to failure, cyclic loading to failure, compression strength resilience test, creep test and relaxation test using electronic universal testing machines. The mechanical behaviors of visco-elastic-plastic and mechanical parameters of cement stabilized base materials are studied, then the rheological behavior of cement stabilized base materials is further understood. The results show that loading rate has less effect on the mechanical property of cement stabilized base materials. the change of creep and stress relaxation is small. The viscosity of cement stabilized base materials is not obvious. Cement stabilized base materials mainly show the elastic-plastic properties and are similar to cement concrete. The generalized Saint-Venant model is used to describe the rheological properties of cement stabilized base materials. According to the gradation types and the dosage of cement, the paper puts forward the secant modulus method to replace the complicated method of compressive modulus of resilience. Whether the replace method has wide applicability is still to be further studied. Cement stabilized base materials of different structure types have different road performance. As a whole, the framework-dense structure is better than suspend-dense structure.
