With the recent rapid development of China’s economic, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles are all in a growing number at the same time, serious interference between motor vehicles and Non-motor vehicles on the road put forward severe test on the traffic capacity and traffic safety on the road. Especially in the big cities, the number of electric bicycles and the proportion of non-motor vehicles are increasing year by year in Chinese residents, the electric bicycles become a new transportation because the electric bicycles have fast speed and easily drive into the motor lane, which we should pay more attention to. The thesis puts forward that the traditional non-motor vehicles can be divided into two similar but different way of transportation, and we can alone research the various effect that the electric bicycles make on motor vehicles.This thesis firstly analyses traffic flow theory and traffic flow model comprehensively, it is concluded that cellular automata has advantages in applying in the field of microscopic traffic flow, except that it also analyses the interference characteristics between vehicles and non-motor vehicles and studies dimensions of vehicles, running speed and the section traffic share of electric bicycles for different vehicles at the same time. Then it sets up two traffic flow model based on cellular automata according to the rules and assumptions of the model, the two models are totally separated mixed traffic cellular automata model and partially separated mixed traffic cellular automata model. The thesis has also analyzed the effect that the proportion of electric bicycles may make on the flow rate of motor vehicle,the average speed of motor vehicle and the average speed of electric bicycles based of the two cellular automata models, and also verifies the effectiveness of the models.And at last it puts forward the measures to reduce the interference between electric bicycles and motor vehicles.At last I put forward the measures to reduce the interference and the wide values of the electric vehicle lanes that the electric bicycles put on motor vehicles according to the results of the simulation analysis.
