Study On The Design Of Yunnan Bai Nationality Residence Based On The Traditional Architectural Features

The Bai nationality residence in Yunnan is unique because of its unique natural environment and regional culture. With the acceleration of urbanization, the rapid development of economy and the frequent communication between regions, the new Bai houses have been influenced by foreign culture, and failed to inherit the traditional architectural features. At the same time, architects and planners in the design process lack on-the-spot investigation research on the local residential buildings, the lack of profound understanding of traditional culture, blindly imitate city building, imitation villa phenomenon, under this kind of background, making with regional characteristics of contemporary residential design study is very necessary. Through study of the Bai people in Dali, Yunnan area residential architectural features of, this paper explores contemporary residential design strategy based on the special characteristics of traditional architecture, both national characteristics and style of the traditional heritage, while at the same time to meet the needs of contemporary life.Firstly, through on-the-spot investigation of the Yunnan Dali Bai nationality, summed up the development of the evolution of the residential building, settlement and building space form etc., refine the relevant literature, the main problems existing in current Yunnan Bai traditional and new houses are described and analyzed, summed up and find out the causes of the specific design of the local Yunnan Bai nationality and implementation strategy and method, from the aspects of site selection, planning, courtyard, space, basic elements, adaptability, puts forward the design principle, influence factors and methods of the Bai nationality, through the design example research of contemporary residential design pattern for the future development of the Bai nationality.The main results of this paper are as follows: 1.
