After a time of technological revolution, human society has been an unprecedented development. Human demand for energy is also increasing day by day.However, the traditional fossil energy is extremely limited, and a lot of exploitation of this kind of energy will bring a series of worrying environmental issues. Therefore, we human beings need a new energy to solve the current energy problems and improve our environmental problems. Solar energy with its green, environmental protection,inexhaustible characteristics gradually came into our sight. And the best way to use the solar energy is photovoltaic power generation. And grid connected photovoltaic power generation not only is the trend of the times, but also is the most effective way to allocate solar energy resources.In this paper, the working principle and characteristics of photovoltaic cell are firstly described. According to the photovoltaic battery equivalent circuit and mathematical model, the simulation model of photovoltaic cells is built under the environment of SIMULIK. Through the simulation output and characteristic curve, we have analyzed and summarized the characteristics of photovoltaic cells.Then the principle and technology of maximum power point tracking(MPPT) of photovoltaic cells are introduced. This paper explains a variety of different MPPT control methods, and then puts forward the improved MPPT control method based on these methods, and the correctness and feasibility of this method is analyzed by simulation.Then the grid connected photovoltaic technology is introduced. First, the structure of grid connected photovoltaic and grid connected standard are introduced. Then in view of the grid structure in each link were introduced, and puts forward the relevant control technology, and then introduces the grid current control technique(based on current PI regulator and voltage feed forward control technology), and the technology were analyzed. Finally, the grid connected simulation model is built, and the simulation analysis is carried out. From the results we can be conclude that the model can be connected to the grid, and it can meet the requirements of the grid power.At last, this paper introduces the characteristics of distributed photovoltaic power generation,and introduces two methods of micro grid scheduling based on micro grid.
