Explosion shock wave intensity is one of the main targets to evaluate the power of all kinds of explosive weapons. It is important to evaluate the magnitude of the shock wave intensity in the explosion pressure field for the research and development of the project. According to the characteristics of radial deformation under the impact load of the metal cylindrical shell structure, a device which can be used to fix the metal cylindrical shell is designed. The response characteristics of different metal cylindrical shells under impact loading are studied by experiment and simulation. The law of radial deformation of metal cylindrical shell under impact loading is obtained, in order to evaluate the strength and damage effect of explosion pressure field.According to the basic theory of the propagation and reflection of the shock wave, the design of a reasonable metal cylindrical shell pressure fixing device is designed, And based on the pure aluminum cylindrical shell with the thickness of 0.5mm under the impact load ing we carried some experimental study, the feasibility of measuring the pressure of the measuring instrument was checked.Based on the numerical simulation of 3 kinds of thickness and 5 kinds of materials, the relationship between the free field overpressure and the maximum deformation of different metal cylindrical shells are obtained.Based on Radioss to do different cylindrical shells of the modal analysis, and conclude the self vibration periods, according to the criterion, when t+≥10T(t+:the goal by positive pressure time, T: the target structure self vibration period), peak overpressure to targets plays a decisive role, then compares the different cylindrical shells with self vibration period and duration of positive pressure. As a result of t+≥10T, it is indicated that the cylindrical shell damage criterion of overpressure criteria is scientific.Pressure measuring device in the range was applied in the field of explosion shock wave field test Results have a good regularity and verify the the reliability of the curve of the free field overpressure and the maximum deformation, show that the pressure gauge on explosion overpressure test has a practical engineering value,and provides a guideline for the better measuring device structure design.
