This paper describes the application of data mining methods to solve systems of electrical equipment condition assessment study. For a long time the majority of the domestic power enterprises are using regular inspections and troubleshooting for the distribution network of electrical equipment. Operation and maintenance of these two ways can not accurately reflect the objective needs of the device. Due to the large number of distribution network equipment, inspection equipment likely to cause human undifferentiated lot wasted on equipment running in good condition, and operating status of poor equipment can not be effectively patrol. Status assessment is determined according to the actual operating conditions the device operating status evaluation value, reasonable arrangements for operation and maintenance plan, so that safe and efficient operation of the device. This article in real-time operation and maintenance of electrical equipment on the basis of data research for the operational status of equipment evaluation method based on the power of data mining technology. The establishment of thematic data warehouse infrastructure and equipment defects underlying database database on the use of data mining technology for the historical operating data mining equipment, power distribution equipment for running health status assessment, and based on the assessment results to make operation and maintenance decisions.Development and application of systems for the rational allocation of power distribution equipment operation and maintenance of scientific decision-making and human resources to provide technical support, so that the power enterprise device management more systematic, more efficient, more scientific.
