| Building density estimation is one of the important indicators for urban monitoring. In the area of urbanization, the rapid estimation for building density parameters are of great significance for urban infrastructure construction planning and post disaster reconstruction. Using polarimetric synthetic aperture radar data to carry out building density estimation method in all day, all-weather, smoke, fog, cloud and other harsh conditions can be carried out to meet the requirements of real-time urban monitoring and post disaster detection.Polarimetric SAR data provide more polarization information for building density detection. However, the target decomposition method based on the fixed scattering model is often low in the urban area. The polarimetric synthetic aperture radar images, to building polarization characteristics analysis as the foundation to establish based on adaptive volume scattering model of target decomposition method to overcome the defect of the fixed target model decomposition, with marker-controlled watershed analysis, access to individual buildings, wheel profile, completed on buildings and individual buildings, high extraction accuracy. The main work is as follows:This paper discusses background and the significance of the building density estimation based on Pol SAR image. On this basis, study for the characteristics of building target of Pol SAR image is conducted in this paper. Pol SAR image features and related theory, was studied for different types of buildings under the condition of different radar radiation electromagnetic scattering characteristic made the analysis of the specific goal of Pol SAR image building are summarized. The target decomposition method based on adaptive body scattering model and marker-controlled watershed method made a detailed study. Specific target decomposition was discussed based on the adaptive body scattering model of complex density detection and control based on marker watershed algorithm o f building individual density detection method.Finally, the experimental results of this method are given. The results of the two levels of building groups and building density parameters are obtained. The results show that the method can accurately estimation the density information of building in Pol SAR Image. |
