Steel box girder with unique structure and economic advantages has been more and more widely used, in many cross sea bridge can see its shadow. However, due to the good thermal conductivity of steel, the temperature of the bridge deck pavement is significantly different,and the structural changes caused by different temperature effects are also obvious differences.So the studies on temperature effect of box girder was imminent.This paper is based on the construction of the non navigable hole bridge in the deep water area of the Hong Kong Zhu Ao bridge. The bridge type selection of single span length of 110 meters of continuous steel box girder, the construction technology of the large segmental box girder manufacture and installation. In this paper, according to the natural environment of the construction site, the use of heat conduction theory, with the use of general finite element software ANSYS to simulate the temperature field, and the measured temperature field control analysis. The temperature effect analysis of the whole bridge is carried out through the bridge software Midas/Civil, and the actual construction alignment is carried out.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)Introduces the temperature field and the thermal conduction theory and finite element analysis method, and according to the actual environment of the bridge site of steel box girder of boundary conditions and the thermodynamic parameters were determined.(2)Using general finite element software ANSYS sunshine temperature field simulation,get the boundary temperature variation with time. It is found that the temperature along the girder vertical nonlinear distribution, and to determine the time of maximum temperature gradient and analysis of stress and deformation in different boundary conditions of steel box girder under local temperature.(3)According to the analysis of the measured data of the steel box girder of sunshine temperature field distribution and variation, and and ANSYS simulation temperature field were compared. It is proved that the ANSYS to simulate the temperature field of variousboundary conditions and thermodynamic parameters selection is reasonable. Take two different modes of steel box girder measured vertical temperature gradient fitting.(4)A brief introduction of the construction process of the 24 non navigable hole bridge of the Hong Kong and Macao bridge. The effect of seasonal temperature difference and sunshine temperature gradient on the alignment and stress of the bridge is analyzed by using the finite element software Midas/Civil.
