In this paper, the five control systems of the pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant are modeled, and the typical transient conditions of the nuclear power plant are also analyzed. The five control systems are the core power control system, the average temperature control system, the pressure and the water level control system, the steam generator water level control system and the GCT steam discharge control system. The five control systems keep the first and second loop of the nuclear power plant power matching and the operation stability of the nuclear power plant. Relap5 is a traditional nuclear power plant system code, the Relap5 program builds the first and second loop of steady-state operating conditions, the code comes with control components, which are used to simulate all kinds of signal acquisition and transfer function settings. the RELAP5 program is used as a tool to establish the plant thermal hydraulic steady model, and to join the five control system simulation, for the study of nuclear power plant typical transient conditions, such as: 5% lifting power, 10% power step, load rejection to power, etc. Based on the typical nuclear power plant transient problems, test transfer function and gain of function, the optimization of power control scheme and parameters are proposed, and the control system of nuclear power plant is improved, the average temperature regulation is more accurate.
