With the rapid development of industrial technology, the energy shortage problem is increasingly seriously,so the topic of energy conservation and emissions reduction has become a common concern through all over the world. Hydraulic system is widely applied in many fields,which has advantages of large power density, easy to realize automatic control. But usually when people design and use it, often focus on the system of working ability, reliability and cost, which cause hydraulic system efficiency is generally low.This paper aims a certain factory KDQ1300 automatic hydraulic press as the research object.Firstly the working principle is introduced briefly, the load characteristic is analyzed, the pressing force and friction force equation is deduced, and combine the experiment with linear regression method, the typical tile load characteristic parameters are obtained. The simulation model of hydraulic system is established in AMESim software, the control model is established by using the statechart toolkit, therefore an overall dynamic model for hydraulic press brick machine, including hydraulic system part, load part and control part. The simulation model is verified by comparing the simulation curve with the experimental curve, and the accuracy explain that the model can be used for the actual conditions analysis.Secondly, the complex hydraulic system is divided into three circuits:the upper die, the box and the skip circuit. Statistic the energy distribution of each circuit, then find out the serious energy loss part. Analyses the energy consumption of the whole system, then find out the cause why energy waste so seriously. This provide the theoretical basis for energy saving solutions which put forward later.Again according to the analysis conclusion, three energy saving solution is put forward, including load sensitive system, variable frequency speed control technology and constant power pump system. Establish the corresponding simulation model and analyses energy consumption under the same pressing procedures. Comparing the three energy saving solution carefully and choose the constant power pump system as the last solution after considering all the factors comprehensively.Finally detailed simulation and application research is conducted by using the constant power pump as hydraulic resource, and the appropriate control method is adopted in order to accomplish the best match of hydraulic source with the system load. In view of the actual situation the energy-saving renovation solution and redesign solution are proposed, both two schemes energy saving effect is obvious according to the simulation results. The good dynamic characteristics of hydraulic system show that the improvement design is reasonable, and the field application has reached the expected effect of energy saving.
