Nowadays, the steel structure is mushroom growth. For the large cantilever structure, the records of the cantilever length is refreshing. Because of its particularity and superiority the steel truss structure is popular with the designers from all over the world. The study on its design or construction is becoming more and more abstruse. The large cantilever prestressed steel truss structure that the large cantilever structure is introduced in the prestress is more difficult in design or construction. The researches on the numerical simulation and construction control in the construction process of the large cantilever prestressed steel truss structure are great significance and practical value. Based on the project of the student activity center in new campus of Nankai University(Jinnan campus), this paper has accomplished the major work as follows :(1) The control of construction preset value, unloaded control of the SRC columns cut and construction control and testing of the SRC column tensioned in the construction process of 5# of the student activity center in new campus of Nankai University are studied.(2) Using the finite element software Midas/Gen, the force analysis of the entirety structure is accomplished,and the order of unloading is simulated. Using the finite element software ANSYS, the calculation model of the bracket node is established, and the process of the bracket unloaded and tensioned force are simulated. Through the effective numerical simulation, the control of construction preset value, the reasonable unloaded program and the classification and substep tensioned sequence of the SRC columns are put forward.(3) Layouting the supervision point of the stress and displacement and the data acquisition of the unloaded and tensioned the SRC column of 5# of the student activity center in new campus of Nankai University are elaborated. Besides, based on the measured data, the software model is rectify. Finally, the monitoring actual data and the theoretical calculation data are maked contrastive and analysis, The relevant conclusions are reached.(4) The force transmission mechanism of the large cantilever steel truss structure with same steel grade prestressed is explored. By comparison static and dynamic character of the prestressed structure and the without prestressed structure, the performance about the node deflection, the internal stress and the dynamic characteristics of the structure with same steel grade prestressed are studied.
