At present, the active and semi-active suspension system technology is becoming more and more widely. Because the traditional passive hydraulic shock absorber has some shortcomings such as the oil easily emulsified, the critical speed is low, the noise is big, it is no longer applies to new suspension system, at the same time,adjustable damping shock absorber study has received unprecedented attention. The application of aeration technology makes the working effect of shock absorber got very big improvement, comprehensive performance is stronger, and make it popular with more people. Inflatable damper applied widely in the advanced automotive, makes the performance of the car made a lot of improvement. In this paper, the binocular inflatable shock absorber are studied, through the analysis of the structure and working principle of it, studies its performance characteristics, lays the foundation for the realization of the electronic control technology. In addition, the research results of this paper can offer reference for our country independent development of shock absorber.This paper first introduces the adjustable damping shock absorber, expounds its development history and research status, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of different types of shock absorber. This paper mainly studied the binocular manually adjustable shock absorber, and introduces its main performance and technical parameters.Secondly, this paper established a mathematical model of binocular manually adjustable damping shock absorber based on the theory of fluid mechanics knowledge. And do the simulation analysis using MATLAB software, get a series of data and graph, analyzes the various structure parameters influence on shock absorber damping value, determine the controlled quantity, It provides the theoretical foundation to fuzzy PID controller and the electronic control unit design.Finally, binocular pneumatic shock absorber of the fuzzy PID controller is designed, and through the simulation tests the control effect, on the basis of the above research content, finally put forward the design scheme of ECU, completed the part of the design of hardware circuit.
