Abstract/Summary:
The sustainable development of social economy and the continuous improvement of residents’ living standards give us a lot of pressure of environment and pollution problems come up, so the problem of pollution has become the common concern that our country and the world need. By comparing adsorption uranium ability of the sawdust, rice husk and shell and other 18 kinds of biomass and myriophyllum, calamus, and other nine kinds of aquatic plants, filter out the strongest adsorption ability for next experiments. The results show that the egg shell and calamus, myriophyllum, duckweedon the adsorption capacity of uranium is stronger. Using infrared spectrum, scanning electron microscopy(sem) technology to had been used to characterize the eggshell sorbent. To study the adsorption performance of uranium and adsorption mechanism of eggshell and calamus adsorption in aqueous solution, uranium solution p H, concentration, vibration time, and temperature on the absorption effect of the shell and calamus, discusses the kinetics of adsorption, adsorption isotherm of eggshell and the law of thermodynamics.Adsorption of U(VI) by calamus was studied in aqueous solutions is rarely reported.Result show that there are many pores inside shell,it has good absorptive effect to U(VI),adsorption capacity could reach above 100 mg g-1, The adsorption process of U(VI) was found to follow the pseudo-second-order kinetics equation. The adsorption process followed both the Langmuir adsorption isotherm and the Freundlich adsorption isotherm. The calculated values of different thermodynamicparameters clearly indicated that the adsorption processeswere feasible, spontaneous and endothermic in nature.Adsorption of U(VI) by calamus was studied in aqueous solutions. Results show that Adsorption capacity of calamus for uranium(VI) is the best at p H 5.5 when uranium concentration was 5 μg m L-1at 308 K.Uranium concentration of solution doesnot change after 20 days,Calamus adsorption balance in 20 days or so, the removal rate reached 85%.The addition of uranium inhibits the growth of the duckweed in different extent,After different acids treated, the ability of duckweed adsorption of uranium become stronger, its chlorop Hyll content declines. The best p H of myriophyllumadsorption of uranium in medium is 7,myriophyllumfor uranium to adsorption rate is close to or even more than 90%.
