The Research Of Hydrodynamic Radial Sealing Technology

In recent years, the hydrodynamic rotary shaft sealing technology has become an important direction of the rotary shaft seal technology. The technique is based on a fluid dynamic pressure effect of the contact surface forming the sealing layer of film, to improve the lubrication of the seal lip, lower lip and the wear of the friction heat, thereby increasing the service life of the rotary shaft seal. Since the technology was discovered, widely used in a variety of rotary shaft seals, for example, various waveforms seals, O-rings bias, Kalsi seal, etc. The main topic of the rotation combined the design method of forming hydrodynamic radial seal rotating mechanism and structural optimization to study the extrusion type rotary shaft seal for sealing performance. The main contents of this paper include the following three parts:First, through the explore techniques of the various fluid dynamic pressure at home and abroad to study the hydrodynamic technology dynamic pressure effects. By combining soft elastic hydrodynamic lubrication and the Reynolds equation for solving the problem and proposed to solve the hydrodynamic lubricant film solving methods.Secondly, combined kalsi sealed to establish a model with a sine wave-shaped seal by a three-dimensional modeling software Pro/E, then with the help of ABAQUS finite element analysis software to simulate the seal research, study the contact stress of the sealing lip with a sinusoidal waveform parameters under different conditions and the effect of different waveform parameters on the sealing performance.and make a theoretical design for common waveformsealing lip.The final part is about the design of the testing apparatus. determining the design of the test apparatus according to the seal experimental requirements of the rotary seal’s testing apparatus and the related testing apparatus design standards. complete the development of a prototype testing apparatus with the help of the three-dimensional software-Solid Works, And to draw the part drawing, constructed the test bench.
