Mechanical driven single drum vibratory roller is an important type of rollers. It is dominant in the market of rollers in our country. Mechanical driven single vibratory road roller is mainly used in the compaction of base and subbase. As the core part of the roller, vibration hydraulic system affects the indexes such as compaction quality, reliability and operating efficiency. So it is meaningful to conduct the research on the parameters matching of hydraulic system.Through the test to the experimental prototype, it is found that there exists some issues such as the serious pressure shock, overlong start time to oscillate, oversize power demand and the power demand disparity between the dynamic process and the stationary condition. Aiming to the existing issues, the research on the hydraulic system is conducted based on the theoretical analysis and by the means of simulation. The loads of vibration system under two different working conditions were analyzed and calculated, and the root cause of above-mentioned issues was found, which provided the research direction to the theoretical analysis and simulation.The mathematical model of pump displacement control system and pump-motor system was built, and the relation between the current control signal and the pressure of high pressure chamber was obtained, which provided the theoretical basis to the simulation. Domestic 22 t prototype was made as the object of the research. The parameters matching principle of the hydraulic system was explored. The matching of the main parameters was analyzed and the reasonable matching interval was provided through the reliability, service life and system efficiency. The hydraulic system parameters matching was judged by the test result.Aiming to the issues occurred through the starting oscillate process, the simulation idea was proposed that change the input mode of current to realize the reasonable control of the system pressure and the start time to oscillate. The simulation model of the hydraulic system which combined the mathematical model and the Simulink software was built, and the parameters of the simulation model were obtained based on the basic parameters of the prototype. The effect on the system pressure and the motor speed caused by different ramp signal was analyzed by using the simulation model. Based on the theoretical research and simulation results, the optimum scheme of segmented ramp signal as the current input signal was confirmed to solve the existing issues of the prototype that the start time to oscillate is overlong, the pressure shock is huge.
