Tunnel anchorage is an important form of suspension bridge structure anchoring system, which has more advantages in greater prospects for engineering applications than the gravity anchorage. People pay more and more attention to tunnel anchorages, because it can greatly reduce the project cost, moderately bear the force of construction structure, and less damage the surroundings. Because of its complex construction technology and lack of the guide of system theory, experience in design and construction are based on analogy, which limits its application engineering.In this paper, the numerical simulation and on-site monitoring of the tunnel anchor structure expanded systematically is studied based on Puli Bridge. Three-dimensional finite difference software FLAC3 D is used to analysis numerical simulation based on the tunnel anchorage. The work mechanism of tunnel anchor is discussed, and the process of anchor around under loading, anchorage working relationship with the state of the surrounding rock contact surfaces and interactions, and the stability of the anchor and highway tunnels and surrounding is analyzed. The conclusions of the paper are listed as following.(1) The previous researches are summarized, the approximate calculation method on tunnel anchor and the possible failure modes were analysed;(2) Some of the key issues were analysed about the tunnel anchor numerical model, which includes the main material parameters, select the constitutive model, and focuses on the calculation method of initial ground stress and numerical simulation of the contact surface;(3) Three-dimensional finite difference software FLAC3 D is used to analysis numerical simulation based on the tunnel anchorage. The stress and displacement in different stages of construction of the tunnel anchor were calculated.Then the stress of the plug body and surrounding rock and the displacement variation of the anchor and the plastic zone were analyzed. Finally, the long-term monitoring data and numerical results were compared, some qualitative conclusions were summarized.(4) From the calculation results and measured numerical point of view, the use of tunnels anchors is relatively safety this stage. The displacement of structures in the mm level under load, and there is no plastic zone in rock on bridge stage.
