Danfeng County Rural Greenway Design Research

While China is in the time of high speed developing,for a sustainable developing, g reen, low energy consumption, safe, harmonious and civilized society, building environ ment-friendly and ecological city is noticed in the national-wide. Beacuse of the fractured green space of countyside and the low developing of the service sector, planning and constructing of the greenway is special significant in China now.The patched green space could be connection into multi-aspect and multi-level ecol ogic network by planning and constructing the greenway in both of city and countryside.Since the multiply function of greenway, as ecology, healthy, recreation and economy, t he trend of construction is boomed in domestic and international. Thousands of greenwa y project appear world-wide.According to the study of the origin, history, landscape function, ecological functio n economic function and outstanding case, this essay mainly shows the deeper understa nding of ecological and landscape function of greenway. Especially presents a design, id ea and solution, which suitable of the demand for the Chinese small and medium-sized c ities, urban and rural landscape, based on the detailed design in this paper, after the stud y of the concepts as foreign recreation greenway, the suburbs greenway, village greenwa y. This solution bases on protecting nature conservation and local cultural landscape, hig hlight the integration of the rural tourism resources and accelerating the construction of ecological construction and tourism facilities to create a new economic growth point for the local economy.The planning of the Dan Feng’s greenway is based on a new tourism form. There is no doubt that this will be a new model to develop the city suburbs and surround ing countryside tourism form. This model connect vital landscape nodes-the village culture, ecological green land, history and culture sites and ancient villages- building a new mode of ecological tourism which integrated local residents recreation, field tour objecti ve travel light. This will also become the new growth point of Dan Feng economic.
