With high-speed development of natural gas industry, the natural gas company pay more attention to build intelligent pipe network. But in the remote small scale regulator station, regulator box and most low pressure pipeline are all meeting the problem of no power. So it increased the difficulty for intelligent information construction of pipe network. In fact, the natural gas pipeline have a lot of pressure energy, we can use those energy for power generation. Finally we can solve this problem directly. So far there have some large scale project of recycling pressure energy researched, but the investment is much expensive. It can not be used for solving the problem of small scale Regulator Station. It is necessary to design a set of miniaturization of gas pressure can power generation process, to solve this problem. Finally realize the intellectualized operation and management of natural gas industry.A set of small scale power generation system and micro power generation box by natural gas pressure energy are proposed in the paper. The design process system is divided into expansion of power system, pressure and temperature balance system, monitor control system and flow rate measurement system. And it have automatic control, flow measurement, the electric power storage and signal remote transmission functions. Form the experimental test results, with natural gas of 125Nm3/h, input pressure at 0.46 MPa and the system pressure drop about 0.34 MPa, power produced is 4500 W and the exergy efficiency is 35%. The research results are designed to be product, with the input pressure more than 0.5MPa, the micro power generation box system can output 0-200 W directly power of 24 V. The above research results can effectively solve the problem of the power of the gas industry and gas pressure.The further design of micro power systems in pipeline can solve the problem of no power in the low pressure pipeline valve based on research above. Designed process system can be divided into front-end drainage pattern and vane wheel drive motor system, and they are respectively tested selected. Form the experimental test results, the system chooses the three-phase brushless DC generator as the generator part, the plastic centrifugal vane wheel as the drive part and the model 2 designed in this paper as drainage pattern, the performance of the system is best. With the pressure drop more than 0.26 MPa and the flow rate about 800Nm3/h, the micro power systems in pipeline can output 50 W DC power of 24 V.A series of power generated process system with pressure energy are produced, it will have broad application market for the natural gas companies, further it will promote the information and intelligent construction of natural gas pipeline network.
