Grid-connected photovoltaic micro inverter has the Characteristic of low input voltage, Low power consumption, strong ability of anti-partial shade, installed easily, safety. It attracts more and more attention among domestic and foreign markets. The Grid-connected photovoltaic micro inverter system is composed by a large number of micro inverters, it works alone, each individual micro-inverter’s failure will have a negative impact on the system, how to find fault type, fault micro inverter type and the cause of the malfunction during power generation quickly, it has important significance and practical significance for the development and maintenance of Grid-connected photovoltaic micro inverter.Based on the analysis of the status of the monitoring of the micro inverter, a method of how to run micro Inverter Monitoring System Based on the characteristics of the micro inverter is presented. The system is integrated with data acquisition, data transmission and data analysis. And it uses WIFI network to realize the data processing and display.In consideration of how to dispatch and manage the power, the method of using the forecasting function of photovoltaic power in micro inverter system was put forward. By studying the analysis and research of BP neural network algorithm, the model of photovoltaic power generation is established, and the simulation is verified through MATLAB simulation. Finally, the function in the monitoring system was realized though C# program.Research the WiFi communication through the relevant hardware structure, networking, TCP protocol analysis. WiFi232 serial communication module and PC was treated as STA, wireless router as AP networking mode, and final the study and the design communication has completed by the use of TCP protocol, socket programming way.Tested the communication quality of WiFi, and obtained the best communication range with high and stable speed. Also tested the function of micro inverter monitoring system, including real-time display, graphics display, historical query, power forecast and so on.
