The monitoring system of power supply in CSRm is an important support system to guarantee that HIRFL’s running is efficient and safe. The CSRm original monitoring system is a separation system without a unified operation interface. The operators have to connect the front-end server via the remote desktop to check the output of the power supply. It makes their work inconvenience because the operators must be familiar with the location of each power supply and the IP address of the front-end server.To the existent problems, this paper designed an integrated and comprehensive monitoring system of power supply based on Lab VIEW. This monitoring system adopts Lab VIEW as the software development platform, which is a graphical programming language developed by National Instruments. It uses a graphical interface to replace the traditional txt programming interface and greatly shorten the development cycle of the whole system. According to the unified interface requirements and based on the former CSRm monitoring system hardware platform, this paper adds a computer as the client to provide an integrated operation and display interface.The C\S mode is adopted to build the software structure of the system. The programs in the front-end server mainly collect the power supply output data which will be processed and upload to the client through the Data Socket technology. The client programs set the control parameters of all data acquisition cards and gather the upload data of all power supplies with Data Socket technology. Then, according the operators need, the data will be processed, displayed and saved. This paper also developed the interaction function with Oracle database. Client interface with integrated design method has achieved the management of a unified operation interface and be able to check the state of the power supply intuitively, which has fulfilled the requirements of controlling beam in CSRm.The system had been formally used in November 2015.The test results show that the system is a stable and reliable system, which improves the efficiency of operation and troubleshooting.
