| In recent years, terrorist activities taking place repeatedly, drug trafficking and smuggling is rampant, environmental degradation has become increasingly serious. The development of a rapid, portable, agility, safety testing instruments so that to control these processes become urgent needs. Ion Mobility Spectrometry(IMS) with its high sensitivity, fast detection, small volume, low power consumption, are widely used in explosives, illegal drugs, chemical warfare agents and rapid detection of environmental pollutants. The research of modern IMS mainly involves the theories, equipments, technologies and methods on developing the new ion sources, which is especially important and significant for driving the development of IMS. Radioactive ion source 63 Ni is favored for use in existing commercial IMS because of its good stability, low energy consumption, no noise interference, operation simple and easy to use. However, radioactive elements in the miniaturized portable IMS which has low ionic strength, narrow linear range. Especially radioactive would pose a potential health threat to users, which is not easy to be promoted and widely accepted. Therefore, with the consideration of health and environmental protection, the development of alternative ion source is imperative.Aiming at this problem, this paper tries to adopt the Desorption Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization(DAPCI) as the ion source of IMS. DAPCI is a kind of used for direct analysis of the surface ionization technology. The ionization technology is widely used in the food safety, security, criminal investigation, and many other fields not only because of the advantages of no radioactive pollution, but also has simple structure, portable operation, no chemical pollution, and combination conveniently. These benefits laid a solid foundation for the future deepening the understanding of DAPCI and IMS, continuing to strengthen the research of DAPCI and IMS, and development of novel IMS expanding its application scope.This article will surface desorption atomospheric pressure chemical ionization technology(DAPCI) and ion mobility spectrometry(IMS) technology combination, in the ion mobility spectrometer is the research background and status quo on the basis of the brief analysis, detailed elaborated the surface desorption atmospheric pressure chemical ionization ion mobility spectrometer principle and structure. In the early, on the basis of a lot of experimental data analysis, independent research and development of IMS DAPCI source for special purpose, build DAPCI- IMS research platform, selection of explosives standard sample, inspect the working performance of the experimental conditions on the DAPCI- IMS interaction, compared before and after introducing DAPCI ionization source spectrum of ion migration system sensitivity and the analysis of the effect of performance; Research DAPCI- the work mechanism of IMS, and master the work regularly. On this basis, the systematic investigation and research DAPCI- IMS on the surface in real-time, online, nondestructive and pollution-free, the feasibility of rapid detection, for exploring DAPCI- IMS in the food safety and quality in areas such as the analysis of the new method. |
