Accelerator-driven subcritical system( ADS) is the most powerful tool for transmutation of nuclear waste, a proton induced spallation reactions can produce dozens of neutrons, so that sub-critical systems to maintain a chain reaction in order to obtain and use the extra energy neutron transmutation proliferation of nuclear materials and nuclear waste, the lack of such treatment international nuclear fuel sector approach is considered to be a promising new generation of nuclear energy technology route, the research results will significantly improve energy system efficiency and environmental resources benefits.
