In the energy and enviro nmental protectio n and sustainab le advocacy, researc h on the compressed air powered engine has been the focus of many colleges and univers ities, enterprise p ro ject. Pneumatic engine ad vantages, disad vantages : advantages Obvious ly, zero emiss ion environmental protection; disad vantages, energy storage is limited, the sound power co.. So the develop ment period compressed air / fuel hybrid engine, hybrid engine exhaust muffler is more comp lex than trad itio nal muffler, exhaust no ise frequenc y coverage is wid er, more high sound pressure level, has an urgent need to upgrad e.Ho le injectio n in this stud y series two stage expans ion c hamb er muffler is a composite structure, upgrad e to imp rove the trad itio nal muffler, co mb ination of injectio n ho les and an expans ion chamber is a new exp loration and research to deal with high exhaust pressure. The preliminary des ign of the struc ture is in the trad itio nal des ign theo ry o f muffler, into the s mall ho le injectio n theo ry. Theoretic al analys is on the ho le injectio n, the attenuation performance of frequenc y shift characteristics and the exp ans io n chamb er can play a comp lementary ro le of good, at the same time it is also the emp has is of this paper is to stud y the. Due to the frequent co mp lexity and optimization of mic ropore jet compos ite muffler structure, for the stud y of its acoustic performance and aerodynamic performanc e are b ased on s imulatio n bas ed, the current Virtual.Lab and FLUENT s imulation algorithm c an provid e higher accuracy, and can meet the analys is this magnitude. In the res earch on muffler performance, s eparately fro m the comp lete structure, in add ition to s mall ho le injectio n comp lete structure and exp ans io n chamb er, s mall ho le injectio n directio n o f the interior sound field s imulatio n. The c lassific atio n of s imulatio n calculation of s ingle structure, further analys is of the trad itio nal s ilencer exp ans io n chamber muffler in, ab ility and characteristics of cut-off frequenc y range, at the s ame time to obtain the characteristics of injec tion ho les around the sound rad iatio n and "freq uency" c haracteristics; by comparing the calc ulatio n results of the above series structure, ho le injectio n and an expans ion chamber has the promo tion for the overall structure of the muffler performance, while enhanc ing the muffler in anecho ic ab ility is low, high freq uency.Air po wer performance, used fo r the optimizatio n of the p reliminary d es ign of the muffler structure. In fro nt of the purs uit of anec ho ic perfo rmance q uality, often affect the aerodynamic p erformanc e. The purpose of the optimizatio n, is in the premis e to ensure its no ise eliminatio n performance, optimize the structure of the muffler fro m the po int of view of aerodynamic performance. First of all, the exc lus ion method to find the structure o f main effects o n the aerod ynamic performance is adopted in this p aper, by the analys is of s imulatio n co mparison, jet has much effect o n the aerodynamic p erformanc e; this p aper uses Is ight optimization software development o f integrated modeling grid software ICEM and FLUENT, to optimize the parameters of ho le injectio n struc ture calc ulated optimal. Finally, thro ugh the optimizatio n of valid atio n and experimental pred ictio n two, evaluatio n of the optimization res ults. The optimized structure parameter, in an anec ho ic performanc e and aerodynamic performance, comp ared with the trad itio nal muffler impro vement. Experimental pred ic tion, also proves that the optimization of comprehens ive performance of muffler structure brings the imp rovement of the who le. So far, the series of optimizing t he structure of ho le injectio n and the expans ion chamber of a breakthrough in the anecho ic performance and aerodynamic p erformance.
