M701F3 gas turbine air intake system of Huizhou LNG power plant is designed as a two level filter, the first stage filter level is G4, the second stage filter level is F8. In the operation of the filter system, the efficiency of the filter is not high. The efficiency of the compressor is decreased obviously due to the flow of dust. As the filter resistance increases, the air flow of the compressor decreases. Under the reasonable condition of the space layout, the original two stage filter can be improved. The level of the first stage filter is changed to F5, the level of the second stage filter is changed to H11.After the upgrade of the compressor inlet air filter, the air inlet resistance and the characteristics of the compressor, and the operation characteristics of gas turbine and combined cycle unit will be changed..For the qualitative and quantitative assessment of performance before and after the transformation of the unit,and ascertain the value of the promotion and application of high efficiency filter, carrying out the following major contents: (1) Taking the M701F3 gas turbine air intake filter as the research object. Finding out the characteristics of the filters before and after change; (2) Through modeling and Simulation of gas turbine, finding out how it influence the performance of the gas turbine unit and the combined cycle unit when the compressor inlet filter pressure change; (3) Combined with the structure and principle of gas turbine, finding out the Benefit Assessment of high efficiency filter.Through the collection of system data, theoretical analysis and a large number of comparative analysis, preliminary draw the low that how it influence the performance of the gas turbine unit when the compressor inlet filter pressure change. On the basis of the above, the operation optimization strategy of the air intake filter is put forward and the economic benefit is estimated.
