This essay mainly studies the application of artificial intelligent algorithms in optimal PMU placement and optimization of distributed generator’s power in microgrid.Aiming at optimal PMU placement, this essay put forward a new optimization algorithm based on graphic method and GA. According to graphic relationships between PMUs, four topology reconstruction laws and three PMU allocating laws are raised here for analysis on topology constraints. Meanwhile, in order to enhance the overall optimization performance, improved GA based on serial number coding is developed and new crossover and mutation operator is created. This essay also proposes a new error analysis method to estimate the voltage measurement error of all buses in a system, and improved GA and SA is used here targetting on the number of PMUs and the whole system measurement error.Aiming at optimal power distribution of DG, this essay adopts self-adaptive genetic algorithm and fuzzy decision to optimize five objectives, which are voltage offset, transmission loss, running cost, construction cost and the power from main grid. After this, fuzzy decision is used to select an appropriate solution from all Pareto solutions. Moreover, the relationship between Pareto solutions and fuzzy descriptions is also theoretically analyzed and a method to improve selection ability of fuzzy decision is put forward. The results show that this algorithm can find the optimal solution effectively and improves the overall state of microgrid in deed. Some application potential can be seen in microgrid energy management system.
