Study On The Emotional Design Of Urban Street Landscape In Harbin

Street is the open space with linear characteristics in urban and carries people’s social life to a great extent. Street has unique charm in cities, but with the developed traffic conditions, pedestrians gradually lose their interests. The development speed of Harbin urban street has surpassed its controllable scope and has issues of mechanical application, mass demolishing and mass construction, passive development, ignores audience main body’s position in street and Harbin urban’s particular regional attribute. In the current society gradually improving material conditions, people’s needs on culture and emotion also increase day by day, urban citizens’desire on good street environment becomes stronger and stronger, therefore we need to consider people’s emotional needs on planning and design.This paper chooses emotional design theory as the entry point of Harbin urban street landscape design research, takes people’s movement features, perception and experience and psychological feelings as design base and combines Harbin urban street’s unique regional features. The tenet of the design is to create more humanized urban street landscape space, improve human’s comprehensive experience in urban street, increase environment quality of people’s movement space, thus making Harbin urban street bring people safe, comfortable and beautiful feelings. Therefore, urban street design optimization research based on emotional design has important theoretical significance and practical meaning.This research first of all analyzes the components of street landscape and systematically sorts out the emotional design theory, and proposes the philosophy updating on street landscape oriented by emotional design. Secondly, this paper introduces basic status of Harbin urban landscape and makes demonstration and analysis on basic data measurement, depth interview and behavior investigation result of the Harbin city’s representative street landscape and perfects emotion cognition on Harbin street landscape. Thirdly, this paper makes questionnaire research on the street using group through quoting semantic differential method in behavioral architecture theory, makes deep analysis on the survey data of the case, thus studying influence of street landscape space environment with different traits on people’s mentality and behavior. At last, combining evaluation result and practical status of Harbin street landscape design, this paper proposes optimization strategy of Harbin urban street landscape based on emotional design and provides reference suggestion for better perfecting Harbin urban street landscape construction, thus creating better life environment for the mass and making the existence of street landscape space more meaningful.
