Fatigue experiment is currently the main means of obtaining rubber isolator fatigue life. Fatigue testing machine as a key device of fatigue experiment, its performance has significant impact on the accuracy of fatigue life. Research on high performance fatigue testing machine to enhance the accuracy of fatigue life test has great significance.This paper summarizes the main research methods of rubber element fatigue life. Hydraulic loading system and control system of fatigue testing machine were designed to meet the requirements of rubber isolator fatigue experiment. Through analysis and calculation of test parameters, test machine parameters were reasonably designed including hydraulic servo system and hydraulic components selection. Mathematical models of main aspects were established. System transfer function was set. Simulink was used to simulate and analyse system performance including celerity, stability and accuracy. Fuzzy adaptive PID controller was designed to improve the control performance of the system. Control software of fatigue testing machine based on Lab VIEW was developed to complete the data collection and display. Driving point dynamic stiffness was tested in the fatigue test machine and two typical elastic elements were tested.
