Crack is a universal engineering phenomenon in the hydraulic concrete structures, and the existence and propagation of cracks have diverse effect on the capacity and safety running of the concrete structures. Hydraulic tunnel concrete is studied in this paper. The prevention and control measures of hydraulic concrete crack, perniciousness evaluation of crack and the reinforcement measures of crack are concluded and studied in this paper. The main contents are as followings:(1) The measures to prevent crack generation during the design stage of hydraulic tunnel are summarized and analyzed systematically. The reasonable divided joint of the hydraulic tunnel, including the design of expansion joints’ spacing and its width, is key to crack prevention. The spacing and width of expansion joints can be calculated with the utilization of the theory that the linear relationship of shear stress and shear stress orientation, finally, one corresponding example is given.(2) The measures to prevent crack generation during the construction stage of hydraulic tunnel are summarized following reading literatures. For example, strengthening construction management, selecting reasonable concrete raw materials, temperature controlling, concrete curing, microbial technology and nanotechnology, especially, the admixture experiment of concrete seepage and crack healing is studied in this paper.(3) Perniciousness assessment analysis of hydraulic tunnel cracks is presented in this paper, meanwhile, the stress-strain elastic-plastic analysis of concrete structures with cracks, is presented utilizing finite element method, and one corresponding example is given in this paper.(4) The conventional reinforcement measures for hydraulic tunnel concrete with cracks in has been analyzed, and for the shortcomings of conventional reinforcement scheme, the qualitative analysis of the proposed new CFRP-reinforced concrete technology, with binder modified is studied in this paper. The analysis results showed that the adhesive strength between concrete and CFRP can be improved, and the durability and aseismicity can also be enhanced.(5) Based on the depth analysis of the crack repair measures of hydraulic tunnel with cracks and the anti-seepage scheme of the expansion joint, and for the cold, damp construction environment, the related experiment research regarding the proposed new polyurea-composite impervious system is studied in this paper. The superiority of this new impervious system can be demonstrated by the experiment results and the engineering application.
