Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, renewable energy generation has developed rapidly, however, it has intermittent. To reduce the impact to the power grid and improve the stability of the power grid, micro-grid is one of the main forms of renewable energy power generation paralleling in grid. The energy storage system is an essential part of the micro-grid and the key to improve the quality and safety of the power quality. In this paper, the research of renewable energy generation planning and the optimal configuration of energy storage system are carried out. The main contents are as follows.Firstly, this paper establishes a micro-grid generation planning model with the goal of maximum life-cycle net profit, and uses PSO algorithm to solve the model. Then, An example is given by using the actual data of a certain area of Shanghai, get the planning results of Grid-connected Photovoltaic/Battery micro-grid system and its economic benefits. Meantime, establishes different micro-grid generation planning models for different financing models, and calculates and analyzes their economic benefits.Secondly, according to the characteristic that the energy storage systems in off-network micro-grid need frequent output, a configuration model for hybrid energy storage in micro-grid considering economic evaluation is proposed in order to improve the service life of the energy storage system. This model is established in the circumstances which the installed capacity of wind power and photovoltaic is known, based on EEMD algorithm to configurate hybrid energy storage consisting of the battery and super capacitor, which can reduce the charge and discharge times of battery and prolong its service life.Finally, combining the foregoing findings, the paper develops a micro-grid generation planning application platform using Matlab GUI graphical interface, and compiles it as an independent executable file. The software has a good versatility and interactivity, and can be used for various micro-grid generation planning and energy storage planning and economic analysis.
