The roller compacted concrete (RRC) dam has developed rapidly since it came out, and the dam engineering community has paid much attention to it all the time. Because of the existence of the layer, the permeability and shear characteristics of RCC dam are worse than that of normal concrete dam. At present there are only actual operation data of the last 20 years about leaching in material of RCC dam, however the longer age (such as 50 years, 100 years) of RCC material properties are not clear. This is one of the key factors to restrict the development of high RCC dam. In China, there are a lot of dams which have vary degrees of permeability and corrosion problems, the layer is the control factor of leakage dissolution of the RCC dam. Therefore, a study on leakage dissolution of RCC layer is a project of important theoretical and positive practical significance.For RCC with layers and the ontology of RCC, we study its microstructure under the different calcium precipitation rate in order to reveal its pore structure characteristics and the hydration products of the specimens which are studied by water absorbing power method and electron microscope scanning method. Macroscopic phenomena (permeability coefficient, shear characteristics and durability) can be explained from microstructure mechanism (pore structure, hydration products), revealing the change of permeability in the process of penetration corrosion between RCC with layers and the ontology of RCCIn the paper, we study on infiltration dissolution between RCC with layers and the ontology of RCC under the action of water pressure to reveal their infiltration dissolution laws which provides a basis for a better understanding of the influence of the RCC layer’s existence on infiltration dissolution.In order to research the attenuation law of intensity performance of RCC with the calcium ion dissolution, shear strength test between RCC with layers and the ontology of RCC under different calcium precipitation rate are carried out. And then the relationship between corrosion degree and shearing strength are established, which provides a reasonable selection for calculating parameters of stability of RCC dam against sliding when leakage dissolution diseases turn up.
