Saline soil is widely distributed in Hetao area of Inner Mongolia, Saline soil has special engineering properties, such as, the characteristics of the collapsibility^ salt expansion and corrosion, which are different from other soil properties. The construction in saline soil area covered by section of lin-ha Expressway in the hetao plain Saline Soil, The impact of the Saline soil disease on the quality of the highway construction in the region is increasing, and even seriously affect the stability of the highway subgrade.In this paper, Based on the construction of the lin-ha high speed saline soil subgrade. Combining the hetao plain region distribution of saline soil and genetic characteristics, According to the preliminary selected sampling location, to lm depth range sampling at the scene and subsequent tests.The main research content includes the following several aspects:(1) Study on chemical, physical and mechanical properties basic engineering of saline soil:The range of salt content, pH value and concentration of main ions in saline soil were obtained, Determine the main types of linha high-speed segment Hetao salinized soil; Identify physical index such as natural moisture content, density, grain size, artberb limits of saline soil; obtain basic mechanicl properties compaction,bearing capacity,compressibility and shear strength of saline soil.(2) In view of the engineering properties of saline soil in the hetao plain area, Combining with the characteristics of lime modified saline soil and the ratio of modified scheme was finally determined.Through the improved saline soil Compaction test, swelling and shrinking test,Bearing Ratio and liquid plastic limit test and so on, Study on the variation law of the basic engineering properties of the saline soil under the condition of different lime ratio.(3) Ascertain feasibility of Road performance index of lime improved saline soil:Through the shear strength, unconfined compressive mechanical strength test of the lime improved saline soil, Combined with freeze thawing cycle of frost heave and the loss of quality, wetting drying cycle endurance test, comparison and analysis of the improved saline soil mechanics performance and durability of the variation of.Study on engineering properties and improvement,Finally, we get the optimum lime content is 8%, to improve and use of local saline soil can used as roadbed fill material to provide a scientific basis.
