Heat exchangers are a kind of process equipment for exchanging the heat quantity, widely used in the process of industrial production, and it is an indispensable equipment in the process of chemistry. In the operation of the equipment, tube plate will bear certain loading, including pressure load and temperature load, the load varies with the working condition of equipment, and these loads affect tube plate independently or assembly. Tube plate is the most complex and the most easily damaged component of all the components of pressure in the shell and tube heat exchanger. About the research on the bearing analysis of tube plate, the world traditionally placed a lot of emphasis on it.In this paper, this text made theoretic calculations based on the GB151-2014 < Heat Exchanger > on tube plate in this topic firstly, then established the local model of the kettle shaped reboiler including part of tube header, tube plate, cylinder and conical shell by 3D modeling software SolidWorks. On the basis of the model, this text made analysis about the temperature field, Pressure field and the mechanical response under the coupled action of type b connection kettle reboiler tube plate by large-scale finite element software of Workbench. On the basis of the introduction of temperature difference and the analysis method of the temperature field, the temperature field analytical model of heat exchangers is established reasonably, and then completed the grid division and the restraint. Lastly the distribution of the temperature field is gained by solving. Through the analysis and the summary of the laws of the results of each path, in which "skin effect theory" described in ASME code was verified. The article considers the stress distribution of b type connection kettle reboiler tube plate model. The stress was analyzed and strength is evaluated(The Third Strength Theory) respectively in the four different operating conditions based on the GB151-2014 "heat exchanger, aimed at the stress concentration of the tube plate and the maximum effective stress place, this text analyzed six path along the tube plate thickness direction with emphasis and drew the corresponding curve and comparison analysis and evaluation. Finally, the text compared the standard values with the analysis results, and verified the compare pensiveness and accuracy of the finite element modeling method in the condition of fully considering the effects of the temperature load further.
