With the rapid development of Internet of things (IoT) technology, the application of Internet of things in transportation is also gradually increasing. The use of public transportation in the city generates a lot of accidents and hurts many people. How to avoid the bus accident also became the focus of attention. The development and application of Internet of things can make the bus company get a large number of real-time data and the bus company can sort and analyze the collected relevant data in order to strengthen the management of the bus company and achieve the goal of reducing bus accident.This paper analyzes the various influence factors of bus accidents, personnel injuries and the extent of the injury. And we can know what people will hurt under the influence of different factors according to these properties. Obviously, only checking the data is unable to get the relationships among them. So, in this paper it requires data mining technology to find out the relationships among these properties. This algorithm is based on the association rule algorithm. First, Due to the insufficient resulting data, it is needed to preprocess the data, including data cleaning, data integration, data reduction and so on. After it, the data is needed to be encoded. The algorithm is mainly based on association rule. Because of the variety influence factors and the form of conclusion, it is needed to use multidimensional association rules algorithm and based on data cube. After the results mined, the rules are analyzed and evaluated and can provide a reference for the management of public transport. In the end, this algorithm is compared with the improved algorithm. It is concluded that the new algorithm is faster and granularity is finer.
