The Masterplan Of Shi Zi Shan Urban Park. Zixing

With a rapid development of economy in our country, people’s awareness of ecological environment and requirement to urban environmental quality are increasing day by day. Construction of ecological civilization becomes a target of each city. Thus, as an important part of urban ecological civilization, urban park plays a prominent role. Under a concept of building beautiful China, a new upsurge of building urban ecological civilization is set off in county or city-levels. After years of practice, the construction of urban park is more and more mature in aspects of theory, methods and experiences. It pays more attention to regional characteristics, ecological energy conservation and humanity.As an important tourist city in Hunan Province, Zixing requires more about urban environmental quality and city image compared with other cities. Shizi Shan Park, locates in the center of urban planning district which covers 276.7 hectares. is the largest urban comprehensive park in this city. According to the overall planning requirements of Zixing City, the park takes "improving living conditions, creating humanized environment, enhancing city image and building forest city" as guiding ideology. Based on landscape ecology, behavioral psychology, environmental regulation and sustainable development and scientific theories and methods, adhering to principle of "ecology, humanization, sustainability, economy", the park planning takes "tourism, leisure, entertainment and fitness, culture and science and green city" as its main function.Based on interpretation documents of Zixing city overall planning, social economy and nature humanity, this paper proposes plannings of building "urban living room, ecological oxygen bar and urban culture museum" through field survey and investigation, urban parks comparative analysis and similar cases reference analysis. This paper also puts forward clear planning of regional function by "one mountain, one ridge, one hill" landscape pattern. Moreover, the author proposes to retain the existing farmland rural landscape and attempt to create new landscape features by integrating park system according to present situation of land use. Occlusion and avoidance are used to solve cemeteries’negative impacts on parks and city image. According to related laws and regulations, the overall plan for Zixing Shizi Shan Park includes functional zoning, landscape planning, land use planning, tourist capacity calculation, environmental protection planning, landscape forest planning and infrastructure planning etc..Shizhi Shan Park overall planning practice could propose similar reference to other county and city-level parks in the aspects of basic theories and methods, the attempt of fusing rural landscape into city park and the solutions to negative impacts of the cemeteries.
