As the waste residue of aluminum smelting, aluminum mortar is widely used to smelt aluminum, recover aluminum salt, and deoxidize steels, which gave a big push for the development of environmental protection. While a big problem remains that how to treat the enormous left activated alumina and silica. As is well known, not only does the abandoned aluminum waste occupy land, but also cause the soil and water pollution.In this study, the secondary aluminum ash is used to manufacture secondary aluminum ash autoclaved brick in the method of compression molding, by adding in a certain amount of industrial waste, a small amount of hydration active excitation materials.By improving the manufacturing methods, some products were obtained. And SEM, XRD and other characterization methods were used to discuss the chemical reaction mechanism of secondary aluminum ash. The measure indicates that a kind of secondary aluminum ash autoclaved bricks can reach the 15-level JC422-91 standard, which is formed in high pressure (14-20 MPa) and made with 80% the secondary aluminum ash,12% slaked lime and 5% cement by mixing and aged.Secondary aluminum ash autoclaved brick has good properties, simple methods of production and 100% utilization, which can effectively solve the environmental pol lution of secondary aluminum ash.
