Research On Brushless DC Motor And Control System For High Voltage Circuit Breakers

With the expansion of the "Global Energy Internet" strategic vision, the constructing pace of strong intellective grid is being accelerated, and the intelligentize equipment of power system is grabbing more and more attention. High voltage circuit breaker is one of the main operating device of power system, accordingly, the intelligent use of high-voltage circuit breaker is becoming an major developing branch of the "tide of intelligent power system". The motor actuator drive of high voltage circuit breaker, as a new sub-closing operation mechanism, combined with the latest power electronics and computer technology, will make the control of high-voltage circuit breaker work in a more advanced way, thus let the intelligent use of circuit breaker become true, and make the entire grid develops toward the intelligentize direction.This paper aims at the brushless DC motor which can suit driving high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker actuating mechanism. DSP28335 digital signal processor chip is been used as the core, to build a corresponding motor actuator control device. The hardware includes a data processing unit, an AD converter module, PWM wave isolated driver modules, overvoltage-undervoltage protection circuit, and some other hardware circuits. At the same time, the main program, contact velocity detection program, data acquisition program are being written and debugged.As experimental subjects, the high voltage vacuum circuit breaker has been tested about its reliability of the mathematical model,the operating system and the control method which are been constructed, in order to take a enhanced consummate the accuracy and stability of it. The results of Online test show that the motor operating mechanism designed in this paper not only reached the standard of the technology requirement of high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker, but also has a upper reliability and stability.
