| With the rapid development of China’s shipbuilding industry, the related inspection of the ship is imperative. Detecting of the ship has a very important significance to whether the ship can operate safely and reliably. With the rapid development of the sensor, computer, virtual instrument technology, it promotes the development of testing technology. Ship propulsion shafting is an important part of ship power plant, its main function is to transfer the power from the ship’s host machine to the propeller and make the propeller rotated, simultaneously the thrust generated when the propeller rotated pass hull, push the ship sailing.This paper made related research on ship propulsion shafting torsional vibration and shaft power measurements. Based on the theory of sensor, and the technology of dynamic mechanical testing, signal analysis and processing technology, virtual instrument, and in support of the necessary hardware, a ship propulsion shafting torsional vibration and shaft power measurement system designed and developed. Hardware included strain gauges, torque tester, eddy current sensors, data acquisition cards, laptop. The software included drivers for various hardware, virtual instrument design and data processing procedures.The real ship related parameter measured by using this test system, verified the stability and reliability of the measurement system, and the measurement accuracy of fully met the engineering measurement needs. |
