China is actively building the smart grid, advanced power generation technology, automatic control technology, communications technology are key areas of smart grid construction and research. Among them, the microgrid is a new member of the smart grid, either effectively support the stable supply of large power grids, but also the flexibility to ensure regional load power requirements. Microgrid can be efficiently distributed generation and use of clean renewable energy, mitigation of environmental pollution and energy consumption, energy saving. This article focuses on traffic demand study microgrid secondary devices, clear logic and flow of information between various devices, and electrical equipment and electrical function modeling, combined with the existing standards and distributed power substation Automation Standard for packet communication structure microgrid calculated theoretical bandwidth requirements, summarized the different packet bandwidth and latency requirements of microgrid calculated theoretical bandwidth requirements.Based on the study sample IEC61850 standard type of packets, control and protection of class packet-based messages, using Opnet network simulation software, a representative of the nodes between network traffic simulation, forecasting different nodes microgrid generated. Then, referring to the self-similar network traffic simulation model to predict the results, taking into account the periodic, random and unexpected microgrid network data. Finally, compare the existing wired and wireless communications technology reasonable choice of communications technology for the micro-grid, to ensure that when unexpected status and fault conditions, micro-grid communications link building to meet the requirements...
