With the development of national economy and science technology, vehicle-mounted mobile power is in more and more great demand, and bigger capacity is expected. The permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) has many good characteristics, such as small volume, light weight, high efficiency, large power density, high reliability. It’s used in military vehicles and other mobile power cars in more and more great amount. However, the permanent magnet motor excitation magnetic field is not easy to adjust, which cannot satisfy the requirement of high performance mobile power. So it’s usually connected to the power electronic equipment, to provide a stable direct current or stable three-phase alternating current. Therefore the study of high performance generator power supply system for vehicle has important significance.To the existing problem of the generator system for vehicle, this thesis puts forward a scheme of variable speed of vehicle-mounted mobile power system with high performance. The system gets stable dc voltage with PWM rectifier which can be controlled. The battery is connected to the dc bus through bidirectional DC/DC converter keeping the dc bus voltage stable in a short-term when the PSMG fails fault.Then the dc bus voltage is inverted by parallel inverter and filtered by high frequency filter afterwards, finally providing high quality power. To the major problem of PWM rectifier voltage stability control of the wide speed PSMG, this thesis puts forward the minimum flux weakening control strategy, in order to make the motor able to run at higher speed, and puts forward the flux weakening control algorithm for implicit pole synchronous generators and salient pole synchronous generator respectively. Then the thesis has a further study of the influence of motor feature parameters salient ratio, current and other factors on the expansion speed situation by flux weakening of the permanent magnet synchronous generator, in order to provide reference for the motor design satisfying different speed and speed range requirements. In MATLAB/Simulink environment, the simulation model of PWM rectifier voltage stability control of PSMG under the constant power load power supply system is established. And the results prove the validity of the control strategy in expanding the high-speed operation area.Finally the other parts of the high performance PSMG power supply system are simulated.
