Under the synergistic effects of vechicle load and environment, the service life of cement concrete pavements do not last for long. In order to satisfy the requirements under new situation, it is imperative to develop a new cement concrete pavement material with great toughness for extending the service life of cement concrete pavement and guaranteeing a expedite traffic.The latex powder compositing fiber concrete wear prepared by using composite modified theory and the properties of mechanical strength, elastic modulus, abrasion resistance and drying shrinkage were investigated in orthogonal design test and series single factor test. The optimum mixture proportion parameter was ascertained by using efficacy coefficient method and the modified mechanism was analyzed. The main conclusion achieved in this paper are as followed:(1) The addition of latex powder lead to a decrease on compressive strength and flexural strength while it was favorable for increasing the flexural strength to compressive strength ratio and decreasing the elastic modulus. So the toughness and impact resistance properties were improved, as a result the deformation abilitise of concrete was enhanced.(2)The addition of fibers can enhance the compressive strength lightly while improve the flexural strength remarkably. The flexural sthrength to compressive strength ratio increased and the elastic modulus decreased with the increasing of fiber dosage which lead to a toughening function. The increase of fiber length can reduce the flexural strength to compressive strength ratio.(3)The fibers with a disordered distribution can absorb energy well so that the toughness of concrete was improved. Meanwhile the cracking resistance of fibers can reduce the inner native cracks of concrete so the abrasion resistance was enhanced.(4)The dosage of latex powder had a greatest influence on the abrasion resistance which followed by the fiber dosage.And the wear rate reduced with the increase of latex powder dosage and fiber dosage.(5)After 90 days the latex dosage showed a dominated influence on shrinkage rate.With the increase of latex powder,the shrinkage rate increased firstly and then decreased.Both of he dosage of latex powder and the kinds of fibers had a significant influence on shrinkage rate.The basalt fiber had can suppress the shrinkage well.The shinkage rate increased with the increase of fiber length.(6) In this experimental investigation the latex powder compositing fiber concrete showed an relative excellent integrated performance when the latex powder dosage is 8%, the optimum fiber is basalt fiber,the length of fiber is 6mm and the amount of fiber is 0.3%. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | latex powder compositing fiber concrete, strength, toughness, elastic modulus, abrasion resistance, dry shrinkage | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
