Hydropower turbine, which is one of the important water-to-electricity conversion equipment’s in a hydropower station, is a fluid machinery to converse the fluid energy, and Francis turbine because of its simple structure, wide range of water head and practical, mature production technology to be used by most of the hydropower station of our country at present. The Francis turbine has many advantages, but there are still many problems need to solve that cannot be ignored, such as crack and the conduit of Francis turbine blade cavitation pressure pulsation and vibration induced by vortex band. With the problems of gradually growing, so has begun to attract people attention to the situation of the internal flow turbine, thereby simulate and analyze its internal flow field becomes necessary.We know the basic starting point of the fluid mechanics research is to build a physical model and fundamental equations of fluid needs, so in every flow components of Francis turbine before the internal flow field numerical simulation analysis, the first need of Francis turbine flow components for 3d modeling, the solid model built in this paper is based on the UGNX6.0 3D software, which is based on the geometry size of the prototype of a certain hydropower station. In the following part, CFD ICEM is used to divide the flow parts of the turbine, and the mesh quality is checked. Then provided by using computational fluid dynamics software CFX respectively for Francis turbine flow components in results are obtained.
