Non-asbestos fiber gaskets are being used in various aspects of our life and as the main type of sealing. Compared with the asbestos gasket, non-asbestos gaskets have some advantages such as low pollution and free harm, but their performance are not better than asbestos gaskets. In order to improve the material performance, we can change the formula or improve the process conditions. Currently less research on the process conditions. Therefore, by changing the process conditions to improve non asbestos sealing gasket is the core content of this paper.The main work is summarized as follows:1. Preparation of samples which were required in experiments, the mechanism of sulfuration and compound were analyzed.2. Sulfuration system could improve the performance and the amount of sulfuration effects were experimentally researched by using a uniform experiment of sulfuration system. And preliminary analysis was to determine the range of each influencing factor, then a orthogonal experiment was used to select the optimal amount.3. The influence of sulfuration conditions on the performance of gaskets were researched. A multiple linear regression model of the compression ratio and resiliency were fitted and the model was reliable.4. Through the research of gaskets sulfuration, we prepared a gasket of tensile strength up to 30Mpa and its compression ratio in 12~17% with resiliency reached more than 65%.
