The Research On The Civic Nature Of The Contemporary Culture Building

Since the end of the last century, with the networked and digitalization process began t o spread to the world, the wave of political and economic globalization has been accelerated and the culture re-integration, adjustment or development has been speeded up. In the globalization process, the shortage in urban land use lead to the trend of diversification and multi-function in construction of public cultural buildings. As the increasingly significant affect that cultural buildings applied to the city and society, the development trend of diversification and multi-function in public activities buildings has become the core element of future urban public cultural buildings. This new type of cultural buildings has positively responded to the current urban problems in China, it not only can improve the cultural living environment, but also can improve the vitality and life of the building. As an efficient and intensive means, development of public buildings in the old city public events renovation and urban renewal programs have a positive effect. New architectural technology creates new architectural scales and aesthetic concepts, creating building public space become the core of architectural expression. However, more and more complex urban demands and public cultural aspirations of the public will be the challenge of contemporary public cultural construction. This type of architectural complex which designed for public cultural activities is providing the most closet, convenient, accurate and visual space for buildings and cities to express the emotion, cultural and spiritual aspects of citizens. How to effectively interact with the public’s culture and life and how to corporate with the surrounding environment in the connotation and form aspects has become the key research problems in public cultural buildings.The civic nature based contemporary architecture of Public Culture is set up on the theoretical and practical research consolidation basis. Although the concept of civic nature is increasingly mentioned by designers, only few specific analysis of this concept has been concerned. Through the study of the development of the concept that from the civil society to the civic nature in both east and west, the author is analyzing the meaning of civil nature in the field of architecture combined with the contemporary social background. Through the analysis of developments and theoretical research in civic nature and illustrations of domestic and international public cultural buildings, the importance of civic nature in building dynamic, building life, architectural and social-cultural relations and architecture and urban relations will be revealed. A set of spatial control strategies that based on civic nature will also be concluded. Based on project-specific urban context, the built environment and the public will, the program combines the previously studied contemporary public cultural buildings in control of the public to deal with the site and the environment, and strives to create the public cultural buildings that with the site characteristics and satisfying the willing of Xiaguan citizens.
