In order to save energy and improve productivity based on oil field, most of the new oil well will use direct drive screw pump, and some of the old oil wells have been gradually replaced by direct drive screw pump.Direct drive screw pump is the core of a permanent magnet synchronous motor, this paper makes a detailed introduction on the future development of permanent magnet synchronous motor and the prospect of thought, discovery and research the advantages of permanent magnet synchronous motor, it also introduces the development status of the permanent magnetic materials and electronic technology, mainly aiming at the development trend modern AC drive and servo system this paper discusses the study of permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control system; and describes the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is established and the calculation process and method, and deduced the equation of electromagnetic torque of permanent magnet synchronous motor in the stator and rotor coordinates; make a introduction to the principle of permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control basic idea and control mode; and the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control system based on Matlab/simulink in the next. The control simulation model is established.Based on the load of Matlab direct drive screw pump and the use of permanent magnet motor simulation and research, and through the comparison with the direct torque control, which verify the vector control of permanent magnet synchronous motor.
