Color Planning In Centre Area Of Fangchenggang

Urban color landscape not only can reflect the overall style and the cultural connotation of the city directly, but also help improving the city’s brand. Fangchenggang as an emerging coastal city, it’s color planning are not taken seriously under the background of color planning lagging. So that, To some extent,there are emerging some problems such as the deficiency of Fangchenggang’s urban landscape features and color pollution,etc.To seek for a solution, this paper, which takes the centre area of Fangchenggang as the research object, on one hand, analyzes and concludes the color state of city centre based on the relative theory of chromatology and colorgeography and successful cases of urban color planning at home and abroad. On the other hand, this research studies influence factors of urban color and evaluates the research results of urban color scientifically from aspects like natural environment, climatic conditions, historical human culture and national characteristics,etc. That is regarded as a guide for the overall positioning, the planning of city centre’s color and the Zoning planning strategy. Last but not least, the downtown of Fangchenggang city is taken as a example in this paper to elaborate the guidance and substance methods for the color planning. We hope that this subject can provide a reference for urban design and government management department to plan and manage urban color better.This paper draws a more realistic and comprehensive color evaluation results. Based on considering the natural conditions, climatic factors, history of humanity, color status, color evaluation results of residents, this paper proposed a method of urban color research and operation in accordance with the specific conditions of this city. At the same time, it can provide feasible approach and experience for the similar coastal city color planning.
